Amos Care’s Assist Access/Maintain Employ sets out with the aim of assisting NDIS participants to unlock sustainable employment opportunities and to gain skills – in particular interpersonal and organizational skills – to advance their career and maintain regularity in their business life. It is the provision of individual employment support and assistance with social and business communication to access and maintain employment.
Guided by our experienced and skilled staff, NDIS participants are, therefore, empowered to identify personal goals, explore career prospects and expand capacities in line with their hopes and aspirations. We provide assistance with the following services:
- Workshops on finding a desirable job
- Career counseling – assistance and support for setting up your own business
- Assistance with finding open market employment
- Workplace modifications/specialized job customization
- Employment preparation and interview preparation
- Resume preparation and job search strategies
- Helping with decision making and problem solving
- Assistance with working independently and accountability
